Head Coach, Israel Women’s National Water Polo Team
(Senior & U20 National Teams)
The Israel Water Polo Association (ISRWP) invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Head Coach of the Women’s National Team Program.
This is a senior national high-performance role that includes leading both the Senior Women’s National Team and the Women’s U20 National Team, while establishing the professional framework and long term development pathway for the women’s national program, as part of the preparation toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle.
Starting date: As soon as possible
Contract period: Until Summer 2028
Key Responsibilities
• Provide full professional leadership of the Senior and U20 Women’s National Teams in official international competitions.
• Develop and implement a multi year professional program aligned with IWPA performance objectives.
• Establish professional standards and a high-performance culture across the women’s national team system.
• Contribute to building a continuous development pathway between age-group national teams.
• Promote athlete identification and development processes.
• Work in professional collaboration with IWPA national staff.
• Represent the association and national teams with international stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
• Certified water polo coaching qualification from a recognized institution (Israel or abroad).
• Proven experience coaching at a high-performance level nationally and/or internationally.
• Experience coaching within a national team and/or a top-tier league environment.
• Experience leading teams in official international competitions.
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Availability for intensive work, including international travel.
Employment Terms
• Scope and structure of engagement will be determined during the selection process.
• The position reports directly to the CEO of the Israel Water Polo Association.
• Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
